We are thrilled to finally launch our first Marin HEAL newsletter. Quarterly we will feature steering committee and taskforce updates including outcomes, work in progress and call to actions. We will highlight training and technical assistance, funding announcements, media opportunities, and news coverage.
Thanks to all our partners who participated in the September HEAL Hunger Forum. We had nearly 150 partners gathered to learn about our work. Our efforts did not go unnoticed and the timing couldn’t have been better resulting in a front-page Marin IJ article. A big thanks to Michelle Fadelli on our HEAL communications workgroup for all her media relations supports.
As we enter the holiday season, we want to remind our HEAL partners to share the Take Action flyer and spread the word on ways to help fight hunger in Marin. Our next HEAL Steering Committee meeting is scheduled for December 3rd and will focus on evaluating the collaboration process and discussing data points for the HEAL Hunger LiveStories dashboard.
